This post will be very different from my other posts. Usually I’d go into detail about each type of bird and give fun facts, but not this time… because this bird is special. The white dove is a very simple, but widely known bird. The white dove is usually perceived to be beautiful, symbolizing things such as peace, freedom and love. So many positive, beautiful views put onto this bird… but you know what isn’t seen as positively? The rock dove, AKA the Pigeon. Pigeons are usually seen as “the rats of the sky” and lots of people dislike them, regard them as dirty, and generally think of them as a pest. Yet these same people think white doves are beautiful. But guess what? They are literally. The sAME. BIRD. DOVES AND PIGEONS ARE. THE SAME. They just have different colors!! Anyone who dislikes pigeons but likes white doves I Do Not Trust.
